Barcode data standards like GS1, UDI, ISBT and HIBC are critical in the sectors they serve, but they make life harder for developers. Reading complex technical PDFs, building custom parsers and maintaining that logic over time is often tedious, error-prone work.
Today we’re launching a Free Barcode Parser API a simple HTTP endpoint that takes a raw barcode value and returns structured JSON. It supports 19 standards now, with more coming over time based on developer feedback.
