How Item Link works
You can choose what happens when someone scans an Item Link:
- Show details: Share selected information about the item
- Collect data: Collect details, photos or updates using a QR form
- Redirect to a URL: Open another webpage
- Do nothing: Keep the Item Link disabled until you need it
Item Link does not replace existing barcodes. Codes such as UPC identify a product type, whereas Item Link uniquely identifies each specific instance of that product.
