Content Marketing Manager
Fully remote
Orca Scan started life as a simple barcode scanner app to help a teenager with his summer job and evolved into a no-code barcode system used by 20,000 organisations worldwide. We’re a small, agile team working with over 150k users to iterate the product and need a highly motivated Content Marketer to help communicate the features/benefits of what we’re building as we scale.
What you’ll be doing
- Gain a deep understanding of the product and write succinct user guides
- Produce training material and video guides
- Produce sales collateral to accompany enterprise quotes
- Work closely with customers to produce concise case studies
- Produce and maintain a content schedule
- Implement SEO best practices
- Manage content across all platforms (email, social media etc)
What you should have
- 3+ years demonstrable experience in a similar role
- Creativity and the ability to develop original content
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Data-driven - use data to inform decisions and measure results
- A good understanding of SEO best practices
- Experience managing social media channels
- A desire to keep things incredibly simple

Barcodes are all around us, used to track everything from the toothbrush you used this morning to medical implants used to save lives, yet, after 45 years, implementing a system to track barcodes is still overly complex. That’s the problem we’re solving for Apple, Lime, GE and many others.
