Orca Scan is a B2B SaaS product that makes it easy to build and deploy an enterprise-scale barcode system without code. Barcodes are all around us, used to track everything from the toothbrush you used this morning to medical implants used to save lives, yet, after 50 years, implementing a barcode system is still overly complex. That’s the problem we’re solving for teams at Apple, GE and many others.

As our Digital Content Writer, you will work closely with our Marketing Manager to execute our short- and long-term marketing strategies. You will be responsible for crafting engaging content that tells the story of Orca Scan and our customers’ success across various platforms, including social media and blogs.

What you’ll be doing

• Working with the Marketing Manager to execute the company’s short- and long-term marketing strategies.
• Write, edit and publish engaging content for our social media channels and other platforms, including blogs.
• Creating opportunities for re-marketing by optimising and reusing existing content.
• Staying in the loop with industry trends and news to identify new opportunities.
• Ensuring content aligns with our Tone of Voice and brand guidelines.
• Applying SEO best practices to optimise content distribution.

What you should have

• Experience using a content management system like Sprout Social.
• Experience managing social media accounts.
• A broad understanding of the full marketing stack - including email, website content, A/B testing, and social.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Great attention to detail with an open mind to try new things.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment 🏃‍♂️
• A desire to keep things incredibly simple.
• Bonus points for candidates who have a relevant qualification in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or similar areas, as well as online examples of their work.
